Special Editions
Special editions are mostly here to celebrate some convention or holiday event like Christmas, Halloween or the Chinese New Year. They're pretty much limited and after a while very sought after.
Dancing Lion
As an appreciating toward the Chinese New Year 2013, Andrew Bell made this Dancing Lion. There are about 7 variations in the different writing on the scrolls with saying like: 心想事成 - All Wishes Come True, 万事如意 - Everything is Wishful, 生意兴隆 - Business is Booming, 出入平安 - Make Sure a Safe Trip Wherever You Go, 新春大吉 - New Year Excellent luck, 青春常駐 - Youth Permanent & 步步高升 - Onward and Upward.
Frankie Frost
To celabrate the New Year and Christmas in 2012 Scott Tolleson designed this cute little faller. One of my favourite Special Editions! Frankie Frost sure knows how to give you some spirit!
Werewolf
As you may see, Werewolf wanted to get out of the box as soon as possible, so I helped him out a bit. I really like the face and it's expression but the football T-shirt is not so much my thing because it's more of an American tradition, which is the home country of Andrew Bell, but I do get the link with Halloween 2012.
BBQ Blue Set: Tourist & Grill MAster
Summer Time! So let the Tourist come and the Grill Master will take care of the BBQ. That might be something Andrew Bell was thinking about when designing these in 2012 but mostly because he was visiting the Big Android BBQ that year.
BBQ Red Set: Fandroid & Griller
Look at that, a Fandroid which is pretty neat with his little accessory. It makes me feel to want to go to a convention. Griller is also rocking the BBQ with his shades. Well 2012, didn't had one, but 2 sets. This one was released at Comic-Con International.
3 GOds: Blessing
Not only one, but 3 figures were released in 2012 to celebrate its New Year. One of which is Blessing, which it states on its scroll.
3 Gods: Fortune
The scroll of this miniature is saying Fortune, which I wished I had after getting these miniatures :).
3 Gods: Longevity
Due to its white beard Longevity, one of the 3 gods by Andrew Bell, has the oldest look. That's why he probably is 'still' alive.
Toy Soldier
This Toy Soldier by Gary Ham would be ready for some awesome fighting. Luckily it's not to celebrate war or armies but Christmas and the New Year of 2011. It's bringing an ode the classic story, The Steadfast Tin Soldier. The only down part is that it's not windable :(.
Don Pablo Cavaleroid
One of the coolest designs is this one by The Beast Brother for Halloween in 2011. I think Cavaleroid s really amazing and detailed with a seperate unique style.
Heroes & Villains: Cycle-On
For the San Diego Comic-Con 2011, Andrew Bell did something great by releasing special Heroes & Villians. There were 2 heroes and 2 villians. One of those heroes is Cycle-On, although I found it one of the dullest in this series. Maybe I just don't like robots.
Heroes & Villians: El Poderoso
I really love the cape of El Poderoso, it not only feels amazing, you can give it a nice forme so it looks like he's flying.
Heroes & Villians: Greentooth
Because of one tooth that looks green, Greentooth got his name. His jacket really suits him!
Heroes & Villians: The Hidden Task
The Hidden Task is always ready to do some mischief around in your neighbourhood.
Cai SHen
One of the first designs, by Andrew Bell, to be inspired by the Chinese New Year in 2011. Cai Shen is really unique and one of the first miniatures to come with an accessory, which fan really enjoyed.
Flakes
A snowman, named Flakes by Gary Ham to celabrate Christmas & New Year in 2010. I really like the idea about it and he looks really great. One of the first special editions that made me feel warm and fusy inside.
Power Vampire
"I want to suck your blood" is probably something Power Vampire is thinking about. I really don't want to encounter this Android figure in the night. It's designed by Andrew Bell for Halloween 2010
Developer
Two custom developer miniatures. One with a smaller and another one with a bigger sticker.
Do-It-Yourself
Sometime in the future, I'll pick up a paintbrush or a permanent marker and try to fill this boy up with some great inspiration.
Standard Green
Just a plain green Android. A simple design of a character and probably why it all started!
